It is a two-hour guided experience at Masseria Cantasole, a 13th-century farmhouse between Ostuni and Lecce near Brindisi. You walk the ancient olive grove, taste three award-winning monocultivar extra virgin olive oils with certified EVOO sommelier Arianna, and finish with a glass of local Salento wine and a traditional aperitivo.

About two hours. This includes the guided walk through the grove, the professional tasting session with Arianna, and the aperitivo at the end. The pace is relaxed, so some groups stay a little longer.

Comfortable shoes suitable for a short walk on natural ground. The path through the grove is easy but not paved. In summer, a hat and sunblock is a good idea. In cooler months, bring a light jacket.

Shared tastings run with a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 12 guests. We keep groups small so the experience stays personal. For groups larger than 12, or if you want the Masseria to yourselves, a private tasting is the right option.

Yes โ September is one of the best months to visit. The summer crowds thin out, the weather stays warm (around 24โ28ยฐC), and the groves are heavy with fruit in the final weeks before harvest. September tasting dates are open for booking now.

Harvest at Masseria Cantasole typically runs from mid-October through December. If you visit in September, you'll see the olives at full ripeness on the trees just before picking begins โ and taste the current season's award-winning oils.

The Masseria sits in the countryside between Ostuni and Lecce, about 15 minutes from Brindisi airport. From Ostuni or Lecce, it is around 30 minutes by car. From Alberobello, about an hour.
A car is required as the estate is not reachable by public transport. The exact address and a Google Maps link are sent after booking. Free parking is on site.

Yes, free parking is available on site for all guests. No need to worry about finding a space.

All ages are welcome. Children under 8 join for free. The grove walk and the tasting table are easy and gentle. Many families visit, and the outdoor setting keeps younger children engaged. We do ask that very young children are supervised during the tasting.
